Lost City of Atlantis: The King and Queen Together, and Their Identities Announced!

Last week, we told you that Foots was in the process of casting the King of Atlantis. It seems he's finished, and the results are pretty striking.
As with the Queen, the King was modeled on a real person, and details in the face shine through.
It's not just in the face, though, that Foots paid attention to details. Check out the hands.

Not yet sunk, the King and Queen look very happy together.

For those of you who are wondering who the "real" people behind the King and Queen of Atlantis are, Foots has finally announced their identities. The Queen is modeled after Lynn Taylor, and the King is her husband, Scott. Together, the pair runs A1 Scuba in Colorado. After they brought several disabled divers to the Brac to dive, Foots saw something in this couple that really moved him. As such, he decided to honor them with the title of King and Queen of Atlantis. According to Foots:

"The reason I choose Lynn and Scott Taylor is I had the great pleasure of meeting both of them, and seeing how they worked with a group of physically challenged Divers, who they brought to Cayman Brac. I was there with them -- from assisting them at the airport when they arrived; throughout their visit; and even assisting them when they departed. It was a pleasure and a gift for me, for these Divers along with Lynn and Scott, to come to my home on the south side of Cayman Brac where I am creating this project. It touched my heart deeply to see the goodness and passion that these two people have for what they are doing. To see the divers' smiles -- to see their enthusiasm -- brought tears to my eyes, not of sadness, but of joy. Just being there gives me even more drive to continue creating Atlantis here on the Brac, a very sincere THANK YOU TO LYNN AND SCOTT TAYLOR, TWO VERY WONDERFUL PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD, WHO ARE MAKING A GREAT DIFFERENCE BY BEING, THE PEOPLE WHO THEY ARE AND THE GOODNESS IN THERE HEARTS."

Congratulations to Scott and Lynn Taylor, the King and Queen of Atlantis -- and be sure to check out A1 Scuba's photo gallery of the trip. Looks like they had a blast.
